DG Assam Rifles Visits forward locations in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar May 13,2026 :- Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, DG Assam Rifles visited the Assam Rifles Battalion at Wusan and COB Kangan in Jammu and Kashmir.

During the visit, he reviewed the operational preparedness and interacted with troops, appreciating their professionalism, dedication and commitment to duty.

In recognition of exemplary service and outstanding contributions to the organisation, the DG felicitated selected personnel with DG Assam Rifles Commendation Cards.

The gesture reinforced the ethos of excellence and served as a source of motivation for all ranks to continue striving for the highest standards of performance.
