Assam Rifles and Customs Department seize Yaba tablets worth 5 crore in Tripura

MUNGIAKAMI, June 28, 2026:- Assam Rifles, operating under the Spear Corps, intercepted a major narco-trafficking attempt during a joint operation with the Customs Department at Mungiakami in Tripura.

Acting on precise intelligence inputs, the joint security team stopped a vehicle and recovered approximately 50,000 Yaba tablets.

The seized contraband is estimated to be worth around ₹5 crore in the illicit market, marking a significant disruption to regional drug trafficking networks.
