Central Kashmir Range DIG Rajiv Pande Reviews Amarnath Yatra Security Arrangements at Baltal Control Room

GANDERBAL, JUNE 27: In view of the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, Deputy Inspector General of Police for the Central Kashmir Range, Rajiv Pande, conducted a comprehensive review of security arrangements at the Joint Police Control Room in Baltal today.

The high-level security meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Ganderbal Sudhanshu Dhama alongside other senior officers from the police force and the Central Armed Police Forces.During the security review, Pande conducted a detailed assessment of overall preparedness, tactical deployment strategies, communication systems, traffic management plans, and inter-agency coordination mechanisms designed to ensure a safe, smooth, and peaceful pilgrimage.

Dhama and other senior police officials briefed the DIG regarding the comprehensive security architecture, advance logistics preparations, and security measures being implemented along the critical Baltal axis for the annual pilgrimage.

Pande emphasized the necessity of maintaining the highest standards of alertness, fostering seamless coordination among all stakeholders, and implementing prompt response mechanisms to handle any emerging challenges.

He further directed the field officers to strengthen area domination, bolster surveillance, ensure route security, and optimize facilitation measures for the arriving pilgrims.
