Katra hotel raid leads to arrest of Uttarakhand murder suspects
REASI, June 27, 2026 :- Reasi Police apprehended a husband and wife wanted in connection with a murder case in Uttarakhand during a swift operation in the holy town of Katra.
The operation was initiated after the Katra police station received intelligence from the Dhanya police station in the Almora district of Uttarakhand. The tracking information indicated that Dharambir and his wife, Jhanki Devi, both residents of Hisar in Haryana, had allegedly committed a murder at their native place on June 20, 2026, before fleeing to Jammu and Kashmir to evade arrest.
