CISF celebrates sixth birthday of elite K9 heroes Max and Bruno at Imphal Airport
IMPHAL, June 28, 2026:- The Central Industrial Security Force celebrated the sixth birthday of its elite K9 duo, Max and Bruno, at Imphal International Airport.
The ceremonial gathering was attended by Airport Director Chipemmi Keishing, Deputy Commandant and Chief Airport Security Officer Mohnish Bagree, alongside senior officers from both the Central Industrial Security Force and the Airports Authority of India.
The event, which included handlers and airport staff, highlighted the deep bond shared between the canine heroes and their handlers.
These specialized K9 units serve as an integral force multiplier within the airport security framework, significantly boosting threat detection, surveillance capabilities, and operational response readiness.
Their consistent vigilance and sharp instincts remain a critical layer in maintaining the overall aviation security architecture at the airport.
