Defense Production Secretary Evaluates Bharat Electronics Strategic Growth and Self Reliance Goals
BENGALURU, April 14, 2026 :-Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary of Defense Production, conducted a high-level visit to the Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) Corporate Office today to assess the organization’s current trajectory and future objectives.
Accompanied by Meera Mohanty, Joint Secretary of Planning and Coordination, the leadership team engaged in a thorough examination of the company’s operational framework.

During the session, Manoj Jain, CMD of BEL, alongside functional directors and general managers, presented detailed updates on the company’s indigenization efforts and the practical implementation of new defense policies.
