Health Minister Sakeena Itoo Visits GMC Jammu to Review Accident Victims Care
JAMMU, Aug 10 — Health and Medical Education Minister Sakeena Itoo visited Government Medical College Jammu to inquire about the condition of students injured in a recent road accident and review their medical treatment.
During her visit, the minister inspected the hospital wards, interacted with the injured girls, and received detailed updates from attending doctors regarding their treatment plans. She directed the hospital administration to ensure round-the-clock monitoring, mobilize all necessary resources, and provide comprehensive care to ensure a speedy recovery for all patients.
Reaffirming the government’s support for the affected families, she instructed medical teams to maintain special focus on critically injured patients and ensure the availability of medicines, diagnostics, and surgical facilities without delay.
Hospital authorities assured the minister that dedicated teams of doctors and paramedical staff are actively attending to the victims.
