Strengthening synergy DG Assam Rifles meets GOC 15 corps in Srinagar

SRINAGAR MAY 13, 2026 :- Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General of the Assam Rifles, met Lieutenant General Balbir Singh, AVSM, YSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding of XV Corps, at Srinagar.

During the interaction, both senior officers discussed the prevailing security situation and deliberated on measures to further strengthen coordination and joint operational synergy in the region.

The meeting also underscored the commitment of the security forces towards maintaining peace, enhancing inter-force cooperation and ensuring effective operational preparedness in Jammu and Kashmir.
