GOC Spear Corps Reviews Operational Readiness Along Forward Frontiers

DIMAPUR, May 13, 2026 — The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Spear Corps carried out a high-level visit to forward locations to meticulously review the operational readiness of the Indian Army units stationed there. The visit focused on evaluating the strategic preparedness and the tactical efficiency of the formations tasked with maintaining the integrity of the nation’s borders in challenging sectors.

                   During the visit, the Corps Commander engaged in direct interactions with the troops deployed at the frontlines, gaining firsthand insight into the ground realities and operational challenges. He commended the soldiers for their exemplary professionalism and maintained that their “unwavering commitment” is vital to safeguarding the sovereignty of the country. Expressing great pride in their high spirits, the GOC appreciated the robust morale of the personnel and urged them to continue their dedicated service to the nation with the same rigor and vigilance.
