Udhampur district approves 485 youth entrepreneurship cases for financial assistance
UDHAMPUR, June 25: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee under Mission YUVA to review and expedite youth entrepreneurship initiatives across the district.
The committee evaluated applications under Nano Enterprises, MSMEs, and other eligible categories to identify candidates for financial assistance. After detailed scrutiny, 485 cases were approved for financial assistance. The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments to expedite the registration and processing of applications, minimize rejections through proper guidance and handholding, and motivate more youth to avail themselves of the scheme benefits.
The importance of transparency, prompt disposal of applications, and support to deserving youth with viable business proposals was heavily stressed during the session.
Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore, General Manager DIC Kishore Singh Katoch, Assistant Director Employment Priyanka Gupta, along with representatives from the banking sector and other concerned officers, attended the meeting.
