Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary reviews development works and public services in Sunderbani and Kalakote

RAJOURI, June 25: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary visited Rajouri district today to review the progress of ongoing developmental activities and public service delivery in Sunderbani and Kalakote.

During an interaction with administrative officers at Sunderbani, the Deputy Chief Minister assessed the status of various public welfare initiatives, emphasizing the critical need for efficient service delivery and the timely completion of development projects to ensure benefits reach the grassroots level.

He also visited the Sub-District Hospital in Sunderbani to inspect ongoing renovation works aimed at strengthening healthcare infrastructure and improving patient facilities, directing officials to maintain strict quality standards throughout the process.

Continuing his tour to Kalakote, Surinder Choudhary paid obeisance at the revered Barohi Darbar to pray for peace, harmony, and prosperity while highlighting the importance of preserving the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the region.

The Deputy Chief Minister held extensive interactions with local residents, public representatives, and party leaders to listen to their concerns, suggestions, and developmental demands, assuring them that their genuine issues would be addressed on a priority basis.

Later, at the Dak Bungalow Kalakote, he met with officers and members of the public to review ongoing works and discuss public welfare matters, stressing the importance of responsive governance, transparency, and people-centric administration.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to accelerating developmental initiatives, strengthening public infrastructure, and fulfilling public aspirations through effective and accountable governance based on continuous community feedback.
