SSP Samba Anuj Kumar Inspects Vijaypur Police Station to Review Operational Efficiency

Samba, April 18, 2026:-Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Anuj Kumar, conducted a comprehensive visit to Police Station Vijaypur today to evaluate its overall functioning and enhance local security measures.

Accompanied by the SDPO and SHO of Vijaypur, the SSP engaged in detailed discussions with investigating officers and other personnel regarding their critical roles in crime prevention, public safety, and law enforcement.

During the session, he underscored the necessity for prompt emergency responses, increased police visibility, and the implementation of robust surveillance in sensitive zones.

To further improve community safety, he directed the team to intensify night patrolling, install CCTV cameras at major intersections, and strictly maintain beat books for better grassroots policing.The inspection also focused on the administrative and technical performance of the station, with a specific emphasis on the timely disposal of pending cases and the adoption of modern policing strategies.

The SSP reviewed the status of the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS), instructing officers to ensure all digital records are accurate and updated in real time.

Beyond the station house, the visit included a field inspection of Rakh Barotian, a known narcotics hotspot in Vijaypur. SSP Kumar ordered the staff to maintain a high level of vigilance and take aggressive legal action against drug smugglers and peddlers to curb the narcotics trade.

Concluding his visit, he urged all officials to uphold maximum professionalism and integrity in their daily duties to maintain public trust.
