Northern Army Commander reviews security preparedness and summer strategy along Line of Control in North Kashmir

SRINAGAR, May 13, 2026 :- Army Commander of Northern Command, Pratik Sharma, conducted an extensive visit to forward locations along the Line of Control in North Kashmir to evaluate the current security dynamics and operational readiness of the troops.

The visit primarily focused on reviewing the comprehensive summer strategy and ensuring that forces are prepared for any emerging challenges in the region.

During the inspection, the Army Commander was briefed on the prevailing security situation and the measures in place to maintain a robust defense posture along the border.

While interacting with the soldiers deployed at the frontlines, the Army Commander expressed his appreciation for their high morale, professional skill, and dedicated service to the country. He emphasized the importance of maintaining extreme vigilance and encouraged all ranks to continue enhancing their operational capabilities.

He urged the personnel to remain responsive and combat-ready at all times to effectively counter any threats and ensure continued peace and stability across the Northern Kashmir sector.
