Military Cadets Learn Counter Explosive Tactics and Leadership Lessons

GAYA June 17,2026 — Officer Cadets of the Officers Training Academy Gaya visited the 201 Counter Explosive Device Unit to gain direct exposure to counter improvised explosive device operations, bomb disposal, and post-blast investigation techniques. The visit provided the future military leaders with a firsthand look at the specialized capabilities required for operational effectiveness in modern combat scenarios.

The training session concluded with an interactive presentation titled An Everest Memoir, delivered by the commanding officer of the unit.

Drawing parallels between mountain climbing and military operations, the session emphasized the critical values of resilience, determination, and leadership under extreme pressure, bridging the gap between classroom instructions and field realities.
