Indian Army And Fire Department Contain Major Fire In Shillong

SHILLONG, Aug 2: Indian Army troops along with local authorities successfully brought a major fire under control at Kenches Trace in Shillong, saving lives and preventing widespread property damage. Personnel from the 117 Territorial Army operating under the Eastern Command responded swiftly to the emergency after receiving information about the outbreak.

The military teams joined forces with the local fire department to carry out joint firefighting operations in the area.Through coordinated efforts and the rapid deployment of additional fire tenders, the combined team managed to contain the flames and halt their spread to nearby structures.
