Indian Army Holds Drug Abuse Awareness Lecture at Govt Lower High School Kulhand in Doda
DODA, AUGUST 1, 2026: As part of its ongoing commitment to community outreach and youth empowerment, the Indian Army organized an awareness lecture on drug abuse for local youth at Govt Lower High School Kulhand. The session aimed to sensitize young minds to the dangers of substance abuse and highlight the importance of fostering a safe, healthy environment. A total of 165 students, 11 teachers, and 5 civilians attended the event, which detailed the harmful effects of drug consumption on physical health, mental well-being, and social life. The presentation placed special emphasis on the long-term consequences of addiction, including its devastating impact on education, family relationships, and future prospects.
In addition to health impacts, the session addressed the legal implications of drug abuse and shared practical prevention strategies to empower parents and educators to take an active role in guiding the youth.
