High-Intensity Anti-Hijacking Mock Exercise Conducted at Jaipur Airport to Bolster Aviation Security
JAIPUR, AUGUST 01,2026 :- Jaipur International Airport successfully conducted its annual anti-hijacking mock exercise today, bringing together multiple security and emergency services to evaluate response readiness and streamline inter-agency coordination during critical aviation emergencies.
The comprehensive drill involved active participation from key agencies, including the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), local police, the Intelligence Bureau (IB), the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Airport Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF), state Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads (BDDS), the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), medical teams, commercial airlines, and the Airports Authority of India (AAI). By simulating a high-intensity crisis, the multi-agency exercise served as a critical benchmark to reinforce emergency protocols, test communication channels, and ensure seamless operational synergy among all security personnel in the event of a real-world contingency.
