DG CISF Inaugurates Modern Barrack Complex for Personnel at Prime Ministers’ Museum & Library

NEW DELHI April 16,2026 — In a major boost to the welfare and operational standards of the Central Industrial Security Force, Director General Praveer Ranjan inaugurated a newly constructed Barrack Complex at the CISF Unit CGBS, Prime Ministers’ Museum & Library (PMM&L) on April 15, 2026.

The high-profile ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Shri Nripendra Misra, Chairman of PMM&L, Ashwani Lohani, Director of PMM&L, Saroj Kant Mallick, IG/NCR, and G Sivakumar, DIG/CGBS, marking a significant milestone in improving the living conditions for those securing this site of national importance.

The state-of-the-art facility is designed to enhance the morale and comfort of the force, featuring air-conditioned living quarters for 55 personnel and a spacious modern mess capable of seating 36 individuals simultaneously.

The complex also includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dedicated ration store, and an integrated secure kote (armoury) for the safe storage of arms and ammunition.

By combining high-quality residential amenities with essential operational infrastructure, this new complex ensures that CISF personnel remain mission-ready while serving at one of the capital’s most prestigious landmarks.
