ARTO Shopian Intensifies Crackdown on Reckless Bikers Appeals to Parents to Guide Youth

Shopian June 27:- The Assistant Regional Transport Office Shopain (ARTO) Er Arif Parveez Shah has intensified its crackdown against reckless bikers and traffic violators across the district to ensure road safety and prevent accidents.

As part of the ongoing enforcement drive, authorities have been taking strict action against youngsters involved in stunt riding, overspeeding, rash driving, and illegal modifications of motorcycles. Several vehicles have been checked, and violators have been penalized under the relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Officials stated that reckless biking not only endangers the lives of riders but also poses a serious threat to pedestrians and other road users. The department reiterated its commitment to maintaining discipline on roads and creating a safer traffic environment.

Meanwhile, ARTO Shopian Er Arif Parveez Shah has appealed to parents to play an active role in guiding their children and discouraging them from engaging in dangerous riding practices. Parents have been urged not to allow underage or unlicensed individuals to operate vehicles and to promote responsible road behaviour among youngsters.

The authorities warned that the crackdown will continue in the coming days, and strict action will be taken against anyone found violating traffic rules.
