Brahmastra Corps launches tree plantation drive and bird watching session in Ranchi on World Environment Day 2026

RANCHI, June 5, 2026—On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, the Brahmastra Corps, operating under the aegis of the Eastern Command, conducted a tree plantation drive at the Cockerel Summer Camp 2026 in Ranchi.

The initiative was organized to reaffirm the military formation’s ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and ecological sustainability.

In addition to the plantation activity, the event featured an engaging bird-watching session led by Panna Lal Mahato, popularly known as the Birdman of Jharkhand, which inspired participants to appreciate and protect the rich biodiversity of the region.
