Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunil Kumar Bhutyal flags off Mindhal Chandi Mata Yatra from Bhadarwah

BHADARWAH, June 1 — Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunil Kumar Bhutyal flagged off the holy Mindhal Chandi Mata Yatra today from Panchayat Drudhu-Bhaderwah.

The sacred pilgrimage, which attracts hundreds of devotees from different parts of the region, marks a deep spiritual journey to the revered shrine of Mata Chandi located in Mindhal, Chamba.

The event witnessed a vibrant display of devotion as pilgrims, adorned in traditional attire, carried the deity’s palanquin amidst enthusiastic chants and soul-stirring hymns. Addressing the gathering, the Additional Deputy Commissioner highlighted the spiritual and cultural importance of the yatra, stating that such pilgrimages not only strengthen spiritual connections but also bind people together in a rich cultural fabric of brotherhood and unity.

On the occasion, the Vishal Dharmik Sanstha trust organized a community kitchen serving warm meals and refreshments to the pilgrims, reflecting a spirit of service and shared devotion.

To ensure a comfortable journey, the local administration put in place seamless arrangements, including transport, medical aid, and basic amenities for the participants.

The flag-off ceremony was attended by prominent locals and organization members, including former Sarpanch Ashok Kumar Sharma, Sansta President Vineet Kumar Sharma, Joginder Pal, Manoj Kumar, Pawan Gupta, Kailash Kotwal, and Manjeet Kumar.
