Sakeena Itoo inaugurates new dialysis centre and biochemistry analyser at Sub District Hospital Tral

PULWAMA, June 24: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Education and Social Welfare Sakeena Itoo visited the Sub-District Hospital Tral today to inaugurate a new Dialysis Centre and a fully automatic Biochemistry Analyser, marking a significant upgrade to local healthcare facilities.

Accompanied by MLA Tral Rafiq Ahmad Naik and MLA Hazratbal Salman Sagar, the Minister stated that the government is committed to upgrading healthcare infrastructure and ensuring quality medical services reach people at their doorsteps. She noted that the new installations will provide much-needed relief to patients by making critical diagnostic and treatment services available closer to home.

Sakeena Itoo emphasized that sustained efforts are underway to strengthen healthcare institutions across Jammu and Kashmir through the augmentation of infrastructure, equipment, and human resources. She added that several initiatives are being taken to improve healthcare delivery and expand access to specialized medical services.

During her visit, the Minister also interacted with doctors, paramedical staff, and hospital functionaries, urging them to continue working dedicatedly for patient welfare. She concluded the visit by inspecting various sections of the hospital to review the quality of healthcare facilities being provided to the patients.
