Indian Railways Hyderabad Division Launches Pink Patrol Drone Surveillance for Women Safety
HYDERABAD, April 18, 2026:- The Hyderabad Division of Indian Railways has launched Pink Patrol, an innovative drone-based surveillance initiative designed to bolster the security of women passengers.
Operated by an all-women team from the Railway Protection Force (RPF), this program utilizes advanced aerial technology to conduct predictive monitoring across railway premises and Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) services.
By leveraging real-time data and bird’s-eye views, the team can identify potential security risks and ensure swift intervention during emergencies.
This initiative marks a significant step in integrating technology with specialized policing to create a safer travel environment for women throughout the regional rail network.
