Rajnath Singh to Inaugurate Three Day North Tech Symposium in Prayagraj
Prayagraj, May 3, 2026 :- Rajnath Singh is set to inaugurate the North Tech Symposium on May 4, 2026, under the theme “Raksha Triveni Sangam,” where technology, industry, and soldiering converge.
The three-day event is a joint initiative organized by the Northern and Central Commands of the Indian Army in collaboration with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers.
This symposium serves as a strategic platform to showcase indigenous technologies designed to address modern operational challenges, fostering a self-reliant defense ecosystem.
The exhibition features an impressive turnout of 284 companies, ranging from established private defense firms and MSMEs to innovative startups and military inventors.
By bringing together these diverse participants, the event aims to identify specific technologies ready for field deployment and maintenance. It also seeks to streamline procurement processes, ensuring that the Indian Army has access to sustainable and domestically produced equipment to enhance its operational efficiency.
Running through May 6, 2026, the symposium acts as a vital bridge between the armed forces, the scientific community, industry leaders, and academia.
The Indian Army continues to emphasize the importance of integrating cutting-edge technology to meet evolving security threats. This collaborative environment is expected to drive technological excellence and strengthen national security by encouraging continuous innovation and stronger partnerships between the military and India’s growing defense manufacturing sector.
