Lt Gen Neeraj Shukla Reviews Operational Readiness and PRAGATI Exercise Preparations in Meghalaya

TEZPUR, April 18, 2026:- Lt Gen Neeraj Shukla, General Officer Commanding of the Gajraj Corps, recently conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness of the Red Horns Division.

During his visit, he also inspected the Umroi Military Station in Meghalaya to assess the ongoing arrangements for the upcoming First Multilateral Military Exercise, PRAGATI, which is slated to take place in May 2026.

This visit underscores the strategic importance of the region and the military’s focus on international cooperation through large-scale joint drills.

The GOC commended all ranks for their high level of professionalism and their unwavering dedication to maintaining operational excellence.

While addressing the personnel, Lt Gen Shukla emphasized the necessity of remaining mission-ready at all times to effectively counter evolving security challenges.
