Lt Gen HS Vandra reviews weapon testing and ammunition production in Jabalpur
JABALPUR, June 5, 2026—Lt Gen HS Vandra, GOC Madhya Bharat Area, visited the Long Proof Range in Jabalpur to assess the dynamic testing of ammunition and weapon systems.
The facility, a premier DGQA Proof Establishment, plays a critical role in certifying the battlefield readiness of military equipment before deployment.During the visit, the GOC also toured the Ordnance Factory Khamaria to review ongoing operations and key production line capabilities. The Chief General Manager briefed the military commander on the facility’s manufacturing output.
