Fire incident mock exercise conducted at Delhi Airport
NEW DELHI, June 14 — A fire incident mock exercise was conducted at Delhi Airport under the supervision of Commandant/Adm Ravish Kumar Singh to evaluate emergency response protocols.
Personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force, along with the airport medical team and Airport Rescue and Firefighting forces, actively participated in the safety drill.During the exercise, emergency teams carried out coordinated evacuation drills, rescue operations, and casualty management procedures in strict accordance with established standard operating procedures.
Officials noted that these routine fire safety mock exercises play a critical role in validating emergency response mechanisms, strengthening inter-agency coordination, ensuring swift evacuation protocols, and enhancing overall preparedness to effectively handle fire-related emergencies at the transport hub.
