CISF Director General reviews election monitoring and response systems in Nadia

NADIA, April 29, 2026:-Director General of the Central Industrial Security Force Praveer Ranjan, accompanied by Additional Director General Sudhir Kumar and other senior officers, visited the District Election Officer control room at the District Magistrate office in Nadia.

The visit focused on evaluating the comprehensive monitoring and emergency response systems established for the ongoing electoral process.

During the inspection, officials were provided with a detailed briefing by the Additional District Magistrate of Krishnanagar in the presence of District Magistrate Srikanth Palli regarding the current ground situation and security deployment.

The review included an analysis of live feeds from various polling booths and sensitive locations, as well as data from cameras mounted on Quick Reaction Teams.

Following the technical briefing, the senior leadership assessed the operational preparedness of the forces and expressed appreciation for the real-time response mechanisms currently in place.

These systems are designed to ensure immediate intervention if required, maintaining the integrity and security of the voting environment throughout the district.
