BSF Punjab organises yoga sessions ahead of International Yoga Day
AMRITSAR June 11,2026 — As part of the preparations for the International Day of Yoga 2026, Border Security Force units across the Punjab Frontier today organized yoga awareness and practice sessions to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle.
In Gurdaspur, the 113 Battalion conducted yoga sessions at its Shikar headquarters and various border outposts. Concurrently, the 27 Battalion organized a yoga programme in Kalanaur to spread awareness about the importance and health benefits of incorporating yoga into daily life.
Meanwhile, in Amritsar, the 168 Battalion organized a yoga practice session at the Integrated Check Post in Attari. Force personnel enthusiastically participated in various yoga asanas and pranayams aimed at enhancing physical endurance, mental resilience, and stress management.
The Border Security Force emphasized that yoga is a way of life that nurtures discipline, resilience, and harmony between the mind and body, reiterating its commitment to promoting wellness and inspiring communities to adopt a healthier life.
