Rajouri Motor Vehicles Department penalizes traffic violators and seizes vehicles in enforcement drive

RAJOURI, JUNE 19: The Motor Vehicles Department Rajouri conducted a comprehensive enforcement drive across the district to ensure strict compliance with the Motor Vehicles Act and Rules. During the operation, the enforcement team checked a total of 252 vehicles, resulting in e-challans being issued to 22 violators and the seizure of three vehicles.

Additionally, the department recommended the suspension of five driving licenses and imposed a total fine of ₹87,000 on the defaulting vehicles. The drive was conducted under the supervision of ARTO Rajouri Ashiq Rafiq Malik, alongside Motor Vehicle Inspector Lakhvinder Singh Chib, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector Neetan Singh, and other department officials to enhance road safety and transport discipline in the region.
