Thousands of students explore innovation at Rise in Jammu and Kashmir expo
SRINAGAR, June 18, 2026 :- The second day of the exhibition titled Rise in Jammu and Kashmir 2026 – Building the Path Towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047 drew a massive crowd of students, researchers, young professionals, and the general public at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre in Srinagar. Organized by Tarmeh Events under the guidance of Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Ali Khatana, the event showcased India’s advancements in science, technology, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, sustainability, public services, and innovation.
A major highlight of the day was the enthusiastic participation of thousands of students from various schools, colleges, universities, and technical institutions across the region. Representatives from the exhibiting organizations commended the curiosity of the youth, emphasizing that such initiatives are vital for inspiring the next generation of innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and nation-builders.The event featured dynamic displays from numerous renowned organizations, including NHPC, BIS, ICMR, ISRO, CSIR, ICAR, APEDA, Indian Railway, IRCTC, SPCB, Survey of India, POWERGRID, HURL, NFL, NBCC, REC, NTPC, TRIFED, National Jute Board, NAFED, Department of Atomic Energy, Tea Board, JAKEDA, and DC Handloom.
