Samba police seize four vehicles for illegal mining operations

SAMBA, June 14, 2026 — Continuing its ongoing drive against illegal mining, the Samba Police seized four vehicles, including three dumpers, for the unlawful extraction and transportation of construction materials.

The operations were carried out by police teams led by the Ghagwal station house officer along with the post incharges from Mansar, Rakh Amb Talli, and Supwal during routine patrolling duties within their respective jurisdictions.

The intercepted vehicles included three dumpers and one tractor-trolley caught transporting materials illegally in the area. Following the interception, the Samba Police confiscated the vehicles and handed them over to the Geology and Mining Department for further legal action.
