Army Recruitment Office Varanasi conducts motivational outreach program for NCC cadets in Jaunpur

VARANASI, JUNE 12, 2026 — The Army Recruitment Office Varanasi, functioning under the Headquarters Recruiting Zone for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, organized an insightful and motivational outreach program for the National Cadet Corps cadets of the 96 UP Battalion in Jaunpur.

The session aimed to educate cadets on career opportunities within the Indian Army and emphasize core military values such as discipline, leadership, integrity, and selfless service.During the session, officials briefed the cadets on various entry pathways into the armed forces, with a specific focus on the Agniveer recruitment process, eligibility criteria, the Common Entrance Examination, physical fitness assessments, and medical examinations.
