CM Omar Abdullah Approves ₹15.99 Crore Water Supply Scheme for Watergam in Baramulla

SRINAGAR June 10,2026 — In a major boost to rural infrastructure, the Jammu and Kashmir government, led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, has officially approved a robust ₹15.99 crore Water Supply Scheme for Watergam Town in Baramulla district.

Sanctioned under the Capex Budget for the 2026–27 fiscal year, this mega developmental project is strategically aimed at upgrading the region’s existing drinking water infrastructure.
