Lt Gen Balakrishnan Jayan takes charge as Director General Dental Services

NEW DELHI, June 1 — Lieutenant General Balakrishnan Jayan assumed charge as the Director General Dental Services today, succeeding Lieutenant General Vineet Sharma following his superannuation.

Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, Director General Armed Forces Medical Services, extended heartfelt congratulations to Lieutenant General Jayan and conveyed best wishes for a successful tenure ahead.

The Director General also complimented the outgoing officer, Lieutenant General Sharma, for his distinguished service and invaluable contributions to both the Army Dental Corps and the Armed Forces Medical Services.
