India and Armenia discuss military cooperation and regional security
NEW DELHI, May 1, 2026:-Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, met with General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff, to discuss strengthening bilateral ties.
The high-level interaction focused on the current geostrategic situation and explored ways to enhance defence cooperation between the two nations.
Both emphasized the importance of expanding military engagement and advancing collaborative efforts in various areas of mutual interest to bolster regional stability and security.
