Sea Cadet Corps Kochi Unit Annual Training Camp 2026 Begins at Naval Base

KOCHI, April 22, 2026 — The Sea Cadet Corps Kochi Unit, a fixture in youth maritime development since 1975, has officially commenced its seven-day Annual Training Camp for 2026.

Hosted at the Seamanship School within the Kochi Naval Base, the event has drawn more than 300 enthusiastic young cadets eager to refine their skills. This year’s camp continues the organization’s long-standing mission of instilling discipline, self-confidence, and a spirited sense of duty in the next generation.

Throughout the week, participants will undergo rigorous structured training designed to foster excellence in maritime operations and leadership. The Seamanship School plays a critical role in this development, providing the essential maritime exposure needed to nurture future seafarers.
