Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Unveils Statue of Social Worker Vijay Bahadur Singh in Ghazipur
Ghazipur, April 21: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha unveiled a statue of the distinguished social worker and educator Vijay Bahadur Singh at Mahamandaleshwar Shri Bal Krishna Yati Inter College today.
During the ceremony, the Lieutenant Governor paid solemn tribute to the late founder, describing him as a true karma yogi who dedicated his life to the selfless service of society and the empowerment of future generations through education.
He highlighted that the establishment of the college in 1974 was a transformative movement born of an unshakeable belief in the power of learning, even in the absence of financial support.
The Lieutenant Governor urged the public to carry forward the ideals of Shri Vijay Bahadur Singh, emphasizing that his legacy of building for the community rather than for himself remains a guiding light for social progress.
Addressing the gathering, the Lieutenant Governor spoke extensively on the vision of a developed India and the national resolve to reach this goal by 2047. He noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development has moved beyond statistics to reach the doorstep of every citizen through housing, digital connectivity, and expanded infrastructure.
