Ramban District Administration Flags Off First Batch of Hajj Pilgrims for 2026 Journey

Ramban, April 21: The district administration of Ramban, acting under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan, successfully flagged off a group of 21 Hajj pilgrims today for their onward spiritual journey to Saudi Arabia.

The departing batch, which includes eight female pilgrims, was provided with comprehensive arrangements to ensure a smooth transition to Srinagar.

At the flagging-off ceremony held in Banihal, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mohammad Naseeb Bajran congratulated the pilgrims and offered his best wishes for a safe and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage.

He encouraged the travelers to pray for the continued peace, harmony, and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir as well as the entire nation during their time at the holy sites.

The departure was marked by a warm send-off attended by senior government officials, religious leaders, and a large gathering of relatives and local citizens.

During his interaction with the group, the SDM expressed his hopes for their well-being and a comfortable travel experience. The event also featured a special prayer congregation where community members gathered to seek blessings for the successful completion of the Hajj.

This organized departure reflects the local administration’s commitment to supporting the religious aspirations of its residents by facilitating necessary logistics and emotional support for the annual pilgrimage.
