BUDGAM, April 16, 2026:-In a proactive move to strengthen community ties and combat substance abuse, Budgam Police today organized extensive village-level Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings across the district’s sub-divisions, including Doru Sebdan, Sheikhpora, Mazhama, Shunglipora, Shamsabad, and Wathoora.

These interactions, held under the ongoing 100-day anti-drug awareness campaign of the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, saw vibrant participation from local residents, youth, and educators who engaged in meaningful dialogue regarding regional grievances and public order.

Emphasizing collective responsibility, police officers sensitized attendees on the devastating impact of narcotics, urging religious leaders and civil society to join the movement in safeguarding the younger generation.

The events concluded with a collective pledge ceremony where participants resolved to eradicate the drug menace, reinforcing the Budgam Police’s commitment to fostering a safe, healthy, and drug-free society through robust police-public collaboration.
