SSP Reasi Reviews Security Readiness and Infrastructure in Mahore Sub-Division
REASI, May 3, 2026 — Senior Superintendent of Police Mukund Tibrewal conducted a comprehensive two-day tour of the Mahore Sub-Division to evaluate security arrangements, operational readiness, and administrative performance.
Accompanied by Additional SP Iftikhar Ahmed and other senior officers, the SSP inspected a wide range of police establishments, including strategic checkpoints and component camps at Budhan, Shajroo, and Shikari.
The review focused on assessing camp infrastructure and night operational capabilities, with the SSP instructing personnel to increase long domination patrols and leverage modern technology for more efficient area monitoring and accountability.
During the visit, the SSP also engaged with members of Village Defence Groups at multiple locations, praising their contribution to regional stability. He emphasized the necessity of regular firing practice and seamless coordination with nearby security forces to ensure a rapid response to any potential threats.
In addition to operational checks, the tour included a detailed audit of police station records, CCTNS implementation, and the progress of new infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the Tulli Bana police post.
This intensive review highlights the ongoing efforts of the local police to maintain a high state of vigilance and ensure a secure environment for residents and visitors throughout the district.
