SSB Enhances Medical Infrastructure and Celebrates Sports Achievements in Siliguri
Siliguri April 24,2026 :-The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has taken significant strides in prioritizing the welfare of its personnel through recent administrative and medical upgrades.
On April 23, 2026, Sanjay Singhal, Director General of the SSB, officially inaugurated a new advanced X-ray machine at the Frontier Headquarters in Siliguri.
This installation is designed to provide better diagnostic capabilities and medical support for both the force members and their families stationed in the region.
In addition to the healthcare initiative, the Director General highlighted the importance of physical fitness and camaraderie within the ranks. During his visit, he unveiled the official souvenir for the 2nd All India Police Handball Cluster Championship for the 2025-26 session.
This gesture served to honor the dedication of the athletes and celebrate the ongoing spirit of sportsmanship across the various police and paramilitary organizations participating in the tournament.
