Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026: CISF Deploys Tight Security and Round-the-Clock Vigilance for Pilgrims

JAMMU, July 10, 2026 — In addition to its critical role in safeguarding India’s vital infrastructure—including airports, seaports, the Delhi Metro, power plants, the coal sector, and Department of Atomic Energy installations nationwide—the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has been entrusted with the security of the ongoing sacred Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.

To ensure a seamless and safe pilgrimage for the thousands of devotees journeying to the holy cave shrine, the CISF has established a robust security grid along the transit routes. The force remains steadfast in its mission, deploying intensive Route Area Domination (RAD) patrols, implementing continuous surveillance protocols, and maintaining round-the-clock vigilance to thwart any potential security threats.
