Indian Army’s Dao Division Rescues Three From Landslide in Tezu, Arunachal Pradesh

TEZU, India — July 10, 2026 — Showing remarkable agility under pressure, the Indian Army’s Dao Division, operating under the Spear Corps, launched a swift and coordinated rescue operation following a severe landslide at Shivajinagar in the Tezu region of Arunachal Pradesh.

Working in seamless tandem with the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), local civil administration, police personnel, and local volunteers, the rescue teams successfully evacuated trapped laborers from the debris.

Despite facing heavily adverse weather conditions and navigating treacherous, challenging terrain, the joint operation provided immediate emergency medical assistance on-site and successfully saved three precious lives.
