CRPF Personnel Save Woman Pilgrim After Cardiac Emergency on Baltal Route

Baltal July 09 :- Personnel of the 75 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) rescued a 46-year-old woman pilgrim after she suffered a cardiac emergency near the Sarbal Camp on the Baltal axis of the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
DIG CRPF Srinagar Sector, Sudhir Kumar, said that a woman, identified as Mamta Gupta, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, suddenly developed severe chest pain and showed signs of cardiac distress while on the yatra route.
CRPF personnel stationed in the area immediately responded to the emergency and shifted her to the nearby CRPF medical facility, where she was administered first aid and oxygen support to stabilise her condition.
Considering the seriousness of her condition, the personnel arranged her immediate evacuation to the Army Hospital at Neelgrath for advanced medical treatment.Kumar said the CRPF team continuously administered Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) during transit to maintain her vital signs until she reached the hospital.
The prompt response and coordinated medical assistance by the CRPF personnel are stated to have played a crucial role in saving the pilgrim’s life.
