CRPF Maintains 24/7 Security Vigilance for Amarnath Yatra Pilgrimage
SRINAGAR, July 14, 2026 — Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel deployed for the Amarnath Ji Yatra continue to maintain a high state of alertness across the entire pilgrimage route.
Their round-the-clock commitment, vigilance, and dedication ensure a secure environment for the thousands of devotees undertaking the sacred journey.
The annual pilgrimage, which commenced on July 3 and is scheduled to conclude on August 28, spans twin routes: the traditional 48-kilometer Nunwan-Pahalgam track and the shorter 14-kilometer Baltal track. Both pathways culminate at the 3,880-meter-high holy cave shrine situated in the South Kashmir Himalayas, where security forces remain deeply invested in safeguarding every stage of the transit.
