Army Goodwill Schools Go Digital: Northern Command and Bharti Airtel Foundation Partner for World-Class Education in J&K and Ladakh

UDHAMPUR, July 14, 2026: In a major push to modernize education in remote and border areas, Northern Command Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma and Bharti Airtel Foundation CEO Nuriya Ansari jointly launched 43 revamped websites for Army Goodwill Schools today.

Alongside the digital rollout, Northern Command and the Bharti Airtel Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at upgrading these educational institutions through comprehensive teacher training programs and advanced technology integration. This collaborative initiative underscores Northern Command’s long-standing commitment to empowering the communities of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.

By combining the operational reach of the Indian Army with the resources of the corporate sector, the partnership establishes a powerful synergy that brings world-class educational infrastructure and modern learning tools directly to students in the region’s most isolated territories.
