Tiger Division Bringing Relief to Flood-Affected Jammu as part of Operation Rahat

Jammu 11 September:- The Tiger Division as part of Operation Rahat, conducted various relief efforts aimed at supporting the people of Jammu affected by the recent floods. As part of this initiative, medical camps were conducted in multiple locations, including Makwal, Samka, Pargwal, Sohanjana, Chhatha, Ramgarh, Bisnah, and Bajalta.

These camps provide essential medical care and services to those in need. In addition the troops were also involved in providing essentials supplies such as food and water to affected communities in Makwal, Janipur, Amphalla, Rehari, Bajalta, Rangpur, Malkechak, and Chakrali, Sunjuwan etc, ensuring that those affected by the floods receive the necessary support.

The Tiger Division’s Engineers have also been working tirelessly to restore critical infrastructure damaged by the floods. Road restoration efforts were carried out in Purmandal, AMK, and access roads to Border Out Posts (BOPs). These efforts helped in reestablishing connectivity and facilitate the movement of people and essential supplies.

The Tiger Division’s efforts have brought much-needed relief to the people of Jammu, demonstrating its commitment to serving the nation.
