FIR Lodged After Three Mobile Phones Recovered Inside Rajouri’s High-Security Jail

Rajouri 11 September :- In a significant security breach, three mobile phones were recovered during a search operation inside the highly fortified district jail in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. The operation, conducted on Thursday by teams acting on specific intelligence and under the supervision of the jail administration, uncovered the devices, which were subsequently sent to a forensic laboratory for examination despite having no SIM cards.

Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation to determine how the phones were reached into a facility protected by a three-tier security system. The incident raises serious concerns as the jail is digitally secured with jammers that are supposed to block all mobile networks. A source indicated that the presence of the phones suggests these critical security systems may have been compromised.
