Srinagar Police Attach Property Worth Four Crore Rupees Belonging to Drug Peddler
SRINAGAR, Aug 10 — Srinagar Police have attached immovable property valued at approximately four crore rupees belonging to a drug peddler in Ichgam, Budgam, under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Executed by the Khanyar Police Station in connection with an ongoing investigation, the action targeted an illegally acquired two-storeyed residential house with an attic along with nearly six kanals of land.
Authorities identified the property as an asset derived from illicit drug trafficking and seized it under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act. Police officials stated that the attachment forms part of a sustained crackdown aimed at dismantling the financial networks of narcotic syndicates, reiterating their commitment to taking strict action against drug traffickers and their assets across the region.
